Author: I have a book group on Yahoo’s groups. I know I have to purchase a domain name same as the group. Will I lose the directory listing? What about the files, databases, etc?
I have a book group on Yahoo’s groups. I know I have to purchase a domain name same as the group. Will I lose the directory listing? What about the files, databases, etc?

You may sure get a domain name that is the same as the name of your group.

Your Yahoo! group is under the Yahoo! domain. eg
http://www.
You would not lose your directory listing either.
The files and databases etc in your Yahoo! group would remain in your group.
