Buying Domain Name?! Help?!?

Author: If I buy a domain name with one company for a cheap price, can I transfer it to another hosting company to host it from there? How do I do this? I heard something about transferring the DNS. What is all this about? Please Help?!

I bought a domaine from godaddy.com and then used it at citymax .com as a host
I later found out that I could have bought my domaine cheaper from my hosting company but using the the domaine name was now problem.
The DNS is just where the server is that directs to your domaine. It may sound complicated but it really is just filling out a standard form that numbers you get from the place you bought your domaine and giving that to your hosting company.
Yes you can – go to your DNS settings in your account (of where you bought your domain name – BTW do not pay more then $10 for a domian for 2 years!!) and write in the DNS setting that your hosting company give you.
You are better of doing the two in the same place:
