What theme do you think will be a good choice? If your passionate about something incorporate that into your site, you might be even able to whip up something educational or a 3D interactive journal/photo album website.
What do you like?
if you want to DIY then id suggest mr site takeaway. google it or hire a freelancer from getafreelancer.com mmuch cheaper than firms but just as good if not better
